Shannon Sullivan
M.S., CCC-SLP
Hello, my name is Shannon, and I am the founder of Sullivan Speech Therapy, PLLC.
Nine years ago, I heard a statement that has driven my passion for speech pathology: “Everyone deserves a voice”. I have worked as an SLP in a multitude of settings. I continue to advocate for the pediatric population to not only have the opportunity for communication but to thrive within their everyday environments. Requests for basic wants and needs are the pillars of independence for language. However, I strive to help every child I treat gain social and emotional connections in life with language support.
Sullivan Speech Therapy is committed to providing high-quality, individualized speech and language services. I specialize in working with children experiencing delays or difficulties in areas such as early language development (late talkers), speech sound production, receptive and expressive language disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, and fluency disorders, including stuttering.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from Northern Illinois University and my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Marquette University. I am a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and adhere to its standards of ethical practice and continuing professional development.
